When recently traveling in VA I picked up a rack card for Sew Many Quilts in Covington, VA. Detouring slightly from out itinerary we drove to Covington. Just from the window display I knew my husband should find a coffee shop because I would be awhile. And that is just what happened. What a wonderful selection of fabrics! How to choose? I decided to pick out royal blue, aqua fabrics to make a zig zag quilt. Once I had pulled out a couple of bolts the owner joined in the fun pointing to fabrics in different areas which might work well. Since I wasn't familiar with her inventory that was very helpful, saving me a lot of search time. My quilt is now ready to be stitched together, it looks great! Many thanks to the owner for taking an interest in my project.

When I first walked in the door I was immediately greeted with bolts of colorful fabrics. Then as I moved from room to room of breathtaking fabric I was stunned by the sheer number and variety of fabrics available. This aint your grandmas quilt shop very modern! in a word "amazing" definitely worth a day trip to see.
